In 2009, they placed 12th at the Jersey Fresh CCI*** (N.J.) and The Event At Rebecca Farm CIC*** (Mont.), and they finished eighth in the Galway Downs CIC*** (Calif.) and second in an advanced division at Twin Rivers (Calif.). This spring, they placed 11th in the advanced at Twin Rivers.

Jimmy’s Prediction: Chelan has gone well in her preparatory events, however, it’s difficult to successfully make the transition from the West Coast to the East Coast. The intensity of the competition here tends to take riders aback. Chelan has had some super rounds here in the Park. While I expect her to produce a good cross-country round, her dressage and show jumping are not yet at the level required to be in the top placings here.
