Bright Horse Communications is proud to announce an exciting partnership with sports marketing and public relations company Athletux. Athletux is owned and operated by advanced level three-day event rider Frankie Thieriot, and focuses on helping professionals promote and manage their businesses and image.

Bright Horse Communications, a media production company owned an operated by fellow eventers Josh Walker and Emily Daily, offers modern digital media production services to small businesses and professionals looking to enhance their brand within their communities.

“Frankie and I have been working together for years now and see eye to eye on helping the sport and eventing community grow and progress,” Walker said. “While Athletux excels at helping sports professionals build and manage their image, Bright Horse offers cutting-edge media production to help those professionals stand out.”

Athletux represents and works with some of the biggest names in eventing and feels this partnership can extend additional services to further promote their clients, “We have always worked well together and complimented each other’s talents. I look forward to offering my clients additional services as a result of our partnership with Bright Horse Communications,” said Thieriot. “It is also great that Josh and Emily share the same passion I do for promoting and participating in our sport.”

To honor the partnership, Bright Horse Communications will be offering promotional video production at a reduced rate. “I truly believe that while video can instantly captivate viewers and communicate on a more personal level, it also demonstrates professionalism and a desire to go above and beyond; two important characteristics I believe sponsors, owners, and syndicate partners look for,” Walker explained.

Walker and Thieriot most recently teamed up to bring video coverage of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event to viewers and followers via the Rolex Kentucky website, www.rk3de.org, as well as its social media pages. The videos generated more than 30,000 views during the four days of competition. In addition to interviews with riders at the finish line and exit ramp at the Kentucky Horse Park, they also piloted a new talk show format in the Rolex Kentucky Interview Lounge where Thieriot engaged in in-depth conversations with riders, coaches, officials, and other individuals currently forging a path at the top of the sport. Spectators were invited to attend the 30-minute interviews and interact in a Q&A format.

“Ultimately, our goal is to package this type of coverage to offer it at more destination events,” Walker said. “I have always loved the Q&A format and getting to know leaders of our sport on a deeper level. Plus, Frankie has a unique way of connecting with each person and knows the sport and community as well as anyone.”

“Josh not only has incredible editing and film talents, his knowledge of equestrian sports and how to create and package content to appeal to all audiences is world class,” added Thieriot.

Walker hopes these types of shows will eventually become the first of which Bright Horse and Athletux will stream live from events. “That way, viewers at home can tune in and ask questions via chat or Twitter as they watch in real time,” he said. “We really want to shrink the boundaries of this huge country, so to speak, so you can keep up to date and be a part of any event no matter what Area you call home.”

Videos from the Rolex Kentucky Interview Lounge can be seen on the official Rolex Kentucky YouTube page at www.youtube.com/rolexkentucky.
