Middleburg, VA — Attwood Equestrian Surfaces, the original manufacturer of polymer-coated, dust-free footing in the USA, is proud to announce the addition of TerraNova to their line of footings. TerraNova requires no watering, is dust-free and best of all is non-tacky like other polymered or waxed surfaces. Nick Attwood, president of AES said “We have been researching footing solutions for riders in hot and arid conditions and came up with what is really our best riding surface yet. Unlike the majority of synthetic footings available today, TerraNova is not sticky and is very stable to temperature variations.  Incorporating the latest polymer technology, I truly believe that this footing is miles ahead of the competition.”

Four-star rider Kate Hicks was one of the first to have TerraNova installed in her ring in of Cochranville, PA. Hicks was introduced to AES through her neighbor Boyd Martin, USEA team member and international eventer. She wanted the same type of footing for her own farm but costs were a consideration.  Hicks said, “the TerraNova was a very affordable solution for us and I could not be more pleased.”

“TerraNova has this incredible cushiony feel to it. The horses just love it. I really feel that this footing is enhancing the well being of my horses. I find it very easy to take care of and most importantly it stays so consistent. And as for the cold Pennsylvania winters, the ring really never freezes. A plus for us who don’t go south.”

Attwood added, “TerraNova is very competitively priced and suitable for both dressage and jumping.  You asked and we answered.”

“We have installed our footing all over the world, including The Oaks of Lake City FL, Karen & David O’Connor’s signature equine community, Windurra, home to famed riders Boyd and Silva Martin, The Chesapeake Dressage Institute in Annapolis MD, Sprieser Sporthorse in Marshall VA, Morningside Training Farm in The Plains VA and Olympian Peter Barry’s farm in Aiken, SC. We are very proud of how well received our footings have been in horse communities of all disciplines.
